The Catfish Pro EVA Butt Protector Cup is made to fit the Catfish-Pro full duplon rods. The Butt Cup sports a large mushroom-shaped design to ensure protection all around the circumference of the rod butt. The outside diameter of the pad is 4inches and the internal diameter where the rod butt is inserted is 1inch in diameter, so is ideal for most catfish and carp rods, If you are using a rod with a Japanese shrink slim handle the rod will not fit tightly.

When playing catfish, the extra EVA pad is used as a fighting pad. Placing the butt of the rod securely between your knees to help with reeling in the larger catfish in UK or international waters. This cup also helps in supporting the end of the rod as there is a lot of stress on the tip.
